A woman, two men, gunshots, screams, footsteps, incessant music, percussive voiceovers, a series of actions and an atmosphere filled with suspense. That is what Quick Death is – a performance in which the story, plots and theme are all embedded within 51 scenes. The characters, who are products of light and shade, speak in only one scene and that too, in broken and unintelligible words. The play has no central narrative and is structured in a way that encourages the exploration of numerous simultaneous narratives and possible associations in the minds of the audience. |
