Monideepa is a single woman who witnesses a murder and files a complaint with the police. The people responsible for the murder start threatening her and she has to face a lot of harassment. In the meantime, she realizes that she is pregnant with her to-be-husband, Deepnath’s child. Deepnath does not want the child but Monideepa’s father accepts it and she decides to fight for its life. At this point, she also decides to visit a psychiatrist who convinces her that she is a schizophrenic. Her erratic and inconsistent testimony in court results in the case against the perpetrators being dropped.
