The play is a harmonious interweaving of the selected works Shankar Kashinath Garg nee Diwakar, an avant garde writer, known for his exploratory and innovative writing in the Marathi language. In an attempt to interpret Diwakar’s work through Dramatics, the performance blends together the characteristic features of modern theatre along with those of the famous Konkanese folk theatre Dashawtar. It also stresses the importance of understanding the complexities in today’s life and of dealing with them with wisdom and integrity. The play is performed in Marathi as well as in the Malvani dialect, and makes use of traditional musical instruments such as the dhol, tabla, harmonium and Rajasthani bells.
