Based on Euripides’ play, Medea tells the story of a woman who takes revenge from her unfaithful husband. Distressed by his betrayal and filled with anger, she decides to avenge herself. Since she has been banned from the city she asks for permission to enter the gates for one day. Then, using her children, she sends her husband a robe for his new bride, a robe that is poisoned and leads to the new bride’s painful death.
