Ek Rikaami Baaju, in which 16 roles are donned by 3 actors, revolves around a young girl who is diagnosed with breast cancer, and deals with various aspects of the occurrence and consequences of having a malignant lump in her breast. It allows glimpses into the emotional and psychological journey made by Ritu and those around us, while looking at the simple feelings that the men and women in her life experience. The play, originally written in English, has been adapted to the Indian conditions, characters and internal and external environments after a series of improvisations. It travels through various time zones, spaces, and locations, all of which combine to create the larger picture. Geetanjali Kulkarni
